Tank Flexibility
Our tank sizes accommodate diverse storage needs ranging from:
- SMALL COMPONENT SUPPLIERS DELIVERING BY TRUCK INTO 30,000 bbl TANKS (4000 cubic meters).
- LARGE CARGO BLENDERS REQUIRING 325,000 bbl TANKS (51,700 cubic meters).
- REFINERS REQUIRING 400,000 bbl CRUDE OIL TANKS (63,600 cubic meters).
Our tanks are located a minimum distance from the waterfront, speeding the pumping process and
simplifying line stripping after a product move. Our most remote residual oil tanks are no more
than 1,200 feet from a dock, offering a significant advantage over competitors' facilities that
have limited waterfront and tanks that are located further inland.
All of our residual oil tanks are steam-heated and insulated with aluminum-jacketed insulation.
Better insulation makes it possible for us to elevate and maintain proper product temperatures.
When a customer needs rapid heat transfer to meet temperature requirements before delivery, our heat
exchanger can raise temperatures of large volume cargoes by 15ºF within 24hrs.
