World Class Storage Terminal in U.S. Gulf Coast
HFOTCO is the largest residual fuel oil storage terminal in the U.S. Gulf Coast, with over 13.8 million barrels of residual oil and crude oil storage capacity. The Company’s assets are strategically located on 312 acres at the mouth of Houston Ship Channel. Founded in 1978, HFOTCO provides customers with a full suite of services including black oil storage, heating, blending and transportation services.
As part of HFOTCO’s ongoing efforts to better serve its customers, the Company continues to expand its residual fuel oil storage capacity. Since 2007, the Company has increased its storage by over 40%. HFOTCO is currently in advanced stages of adding 5.4 million barrels of residual fuel oil storage, which will increase total capacity to approximately 19.4 million barrels after completion. The additional tankage will be completed and commissioned in phases, beginning at year end 2012.
