 Protecting Our Environment
We pledge to handle our customer's black oil in an environmentally responsible manner. We are members of the non-profit Clean Channel Association, a cooperative effort of 27 businesses. In the event of a spill, members of the association pool equipment and personnel in order to respond quickly to contain and clean up any spill. The Clean Channel Association also provides periodic training to member companies in which a "mock" spill is staged and specialized equipment is deployed while being witnessed by appropriate agencies.
Our Spill Response Plans and contingency procedures have been approved by applicable Federal and State regulatory agencies. We keep our own spill containment and clean-up equipment onsite.
We are also committed to protecting the occupational health and safety of our employees and employees of other firms working with us. We have established internal standards that meet or exceed OSHA standards, keeping us a leader in health and safety performance among terminal facilities.
